She is not the cutest kid ever on TV, but I do not hate her.
Btw, who remembers an episode where Dana is dating a college professor but finds he is too old for her. He has a young daughter and I am quite sure she is also played by Emily May Young. This episode was before Frank and Carol had Lilly
Isn't that kind of silly? -

I don't really hate her but I did hate that they aged the character to pull that whole "cute kid" thing in since the other kids had gotten older. You think they would have learned from previous shows (Growing Pains, Family Ties, etc) that it just doesn't work.

I loved Cody too. I remember hearing that Cody was asked by the show's producers not to return because at that time his wife accused him of beating her and they were afraid of the publicity it would get. Later on, it came out that she was the unstable one and he was the one who got full custody of their children because she was the abusive one and messed up on drugs. It goes to show you that you can't always believe what you hear the first time around! Anyways, back to Lilly! I couldn't stand Lilly or Michelle Tanner. They were both annoying, stupid, and always had to be the center of attention. On Full House, Michelle always seemed to get the most attention more so than anyone else in the cast yet I thought she was the worst one! Lilly used to give those stupid expressions when she didn't get what she wanted! What a pain in the ass! Jean-Luc was ok, does anyone remember him from Perfect Strangers?

Yes I remember him from Perfect Strangers because he played Balki in that show. Well the reason why I did not care for Lily was because she started to steal the attention from the rest of the actors on the show and that was a part of the reason why Brenden started getting less lines and less appearance on the show to where he was written off. They could have worked or added a little more for Brenden's character you know. I would have been happy to see him remain instead of getting written off the show.

I agree with you on that but what also killed the show was that it moved from the TGIF line up from ABC to CBS who wanted to have some shows like ABC did and I do not comprehend as to why ABC gave up two of there good shows from TGIF and they were Family Matters and Step By Step. Could it be due to that they wanted to add something new and fresh to the line up of TGIF and that is why they got rid of the two shows? Lily did steal some of the spotlight on the show you know but what I do not understand is when they had Family Ties on they had a son and he did not steal the show at all because they gave everyone roles on the show and did not say well the youngest needs more airing time. That is just a theory.

Well here is the thing in order to give Lilly more story lines they get rid of Brenden who was on the show from the time it began to give her more story lines and I thought that was stupid you know! If you are going to have a character from the time it started then they should have kept him until the end. That is how I feel about it. I do find it annoying that they get rid of one character to have a new character on the show.

Well the thing is by adding her onto the show she stole the lines of Brenden the youngest son. I did not agree with that at all. He was on the show from the start of the show and she only appeared in the last 2 or 3 seasons of the show. The first season or two she was a infant and then immediately grew into a 4 or 5 year old toddler. It is a shame that they did not let Lilly grow up like they did the youngest child in Family Ties. I watched him grow up in that show which made the show last several more seasons you know. They wrote Banden off due to her.

Lilly was okay. She doesn't do much, really, although I hate that she was aged quickly so she could spout cutsie Michelle quirks. Cody annoyed the hell out of me, though. What a total and complete Bill & Ted wannabe. Crappy acting, horrible dialogue, annoying as all hell, hogged the other actors' screen time with pointless storylines, and episodes were constantly wasted to emphasize how awesome he was when he wasn't. I have no idea how 1) he got so popular that entire episodes were wasted on making him the central character, 2) the show's popularity declined when he was written off the show (show got better, IMO, because the actors stopped relying on Sasha to carry the show and stood on their own feet), and 3) why CBS actually wanted to write this guy back into the show.

Yes Lilly was okay but she took time away from Brenden though which I did not agree with because he was on the show from the start and did not get to finish off the show though like Lilly did. I did not like that they had her age quickly. Cody did not bother me too much and I agree with you that he was a Bill and Ted wannabe but he was made the show and drew people to watch though. So his acting was not perfect but he was a major factor of the show. When they created Family Matters it was suppose to be about the Winslow but the key factor of the show was Steve Urkel. If it was not for Steve Urkel the show would not have lasted but possibly a season even though it was a spin off from Perfect Strangers. I think that the show got weak after he left because I did not care for Jean Luc though which was played by Bronson Pinchot because he was just filling in for Sasha. The reason why they wanted to write him back onto the show was to see if the ratings would go back up due to him. The show was very popular when he was on the show and dropped with ratings due to adding Lilly, taking away Brenden, and the exit of Sasha who played Cody. That is why the viewers stopped watching the show. That is what I think. I am not sure what everyone else thinks though.
