As I read an old interview of Sasha Mitchell for some newspaper, the interviewer was being a jerk or trying to be funny where Sasha was talking about his domestic crap. In that interview, he thinks the show was for kids. Range from 8-14. Now there is some sexual innuendos between Frank and Carole. I think the show was for everyone. The sappy turn of the moment music is for the kids, and the sexual stuff is for the adults. So it was for everybody. When I was a teenager, my parents watched it too. After Sasha left, the kids grew up, it was more adult oriented, with more grown up topics. Like Rich and Dana's relationship. So overall the show was like Full House but for everyone. And today, it holds up as a great television show. TV hasn't been same since the 90s.

well, take a look at the cartoons aimed for kids today [and also the ones from yesteryear]. they are ALL seeping with innuendos and adult jokes. that is so the adults who are [stuck] watching with their children are not bored to tears.
never EVER say that this show [or any GOOD show for that matter] is like full house!!!! that is an insult to the show you are talking about.
OH THANK YOU GOD! THANK YOU SO
        BLOODY

Yes, there was a lot of sex stuff between frank and carol. I don't think it was a show for just kids. Full house was much more "clean" then step by step.
