I didn't know this movie existed, which is surprising considering I'm a fan of Roseanne Barr. Just bought it on Amazon. The dvd was really cheap. I'm looking forward to its arrival.
I see Johnny Galecki, who played David on Roseanne, is in this. The date this movie came out, and the date of Johnny's first appearance on Roseanne are too close together to know for sure which gig he got first (but I'm sure it's 'Googleable'). But on the dvd cover of
Backfield in Motion
, Roseanne Barr has her season 3 hair. So my guess is that the movie started before Johnny was even picked to play David on the show. I wonder if Roseanne and Tom's experience with him in this movie was what got him the gig on the sitcom.

I think It was before Roseanne so must be yeah, its a fab movie, I love Colleen Camp!

Yes, Roseanne had said that she liked him so much after he appeared in this movie she wanted him on her sitcom.
