Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Freddy's Dead

25 years ago today Hard to believe. I was a small child and went to go see this opening night. I remember the theater in which I went had a life size card board cutout of Freddy Krueger who's arm moved up and down.

I was 16 when this came out and couldn't wait to see it! Our theatre had a big Freddy cut out too. I loved it and this is my 3rd favorite of the Nightmare series. I remember being in awe of the 3D.

I saw this at cinema as a 13 year old . The last part of the film was with the 3d glasses . Probably the only part of the experience that was good .

I remember the trailers and thinking this one is going to be epic: "Every town has an Elm Street."
So many stories, so little time.
