It was on TV in the UK again the other day and I'm sure they cut the line completely. I remember seeing it on video years ago and was sure he said "f#ck me, he cleared it", whereas for TV I thought they dubbed it to "FLY me, he cleared it". But maybe that was BLIMEY. ho ho.
There was some other line about an Englishwoman's t#ts and that got cut as well. -

I remember when it was released in cinemas, it was beep me, and when it was first out on video, it was that too. But every time they show it on TV now and on the extended version DVD it's blimey, although it does sound alot like fly me.

Actually, the "F" word was not in use during the 1100's.
The first use of the word only dates back to the 1500's.
Apparently, this is the only way I can get this fact put in as a "goof." I have submitted this goof three times and IMBD still won't post it. -

I remember the audience I saw it with here in the States enjoyed that line very much. Part of it was the use of the f-word in an otherwise tame-tongue movie, but Christian's delivery made it particularly entertaining.

"(I met Christian about 2 weeks ago in London and said to him 'I don't know why, but I can only ever remember you as Will Scarlet in Robin Hood'. He looked at me, had a chuckle and said 'It must be the tights'. He then signed my photo I had of him. Nice bloke!)"
You carry a picture of Christian Slater with you?

MovieMerlin (OP), sorry for your blind insistence that characters in this movie do not swear, but having checked out the extended Blu-Ray myself (United Kingdom release(!)) just now,
Christian Slater definitely says "fhuck me, he cleared it".
. So that's that cleared up.
