You're lucky that's all you're paying. The gas is over $8 in some places in CA.
Our prices just went down 10 cents but they've been higher. They've been lower, like a dollar lower, but they've been higher as well.
Did you see where there are some pumps charging customers for pumping air? They're being charged even after the gas stops flowing. I saw the videos referenced on YouTube (oh no!) and a few people were filming showing the people pulling the nozzle out of their cars and holding it front of the pump, pumping "air", while the pump is still running and charging customers.

I'm starting to think that Trump should give out the message of "Trust all the newspapers and TV shows, eat all of the convenient fast food and break all of the laws you can think of" as his finishing move
If the trend continues that people just do the opposite of what he says, it could be a bright future for many -

Trump gives out the message of "Trust only Truth Social and Fox TV shows, eat all of the Big Macs and fries you can stuff in your fat face like I do and break all of the laws you can think of just like I do" -

Part of the reason oil is overpriced is because it's traded as a commodity multiple times between "production" and refining, although it never changes in legitimate ownership ie the "buyers" never take physical possession of it. End that nonsense and the prices would drop. Same thing with all the cumbersome environmental regulations involved with energy and fuel production. Then there's the multiple layers of taxes added on.
I thought all the good little communists use public transportation, ride bikes or walk? The ones who feel they're above that only use "carbon zero" electric cars, so the price of gas should be irrelevant.
