I'm surprised no one has started a thread on this. Even though the selection is pretty short, there has to be one that became a favorite.
Over the last few years I have watched the entire series three times and always crack up at the over-the-top performance of Mr. Humphries playing one of the inbred locals. It's in Series 2, Episode 3 where Mrs. Slocombe's old husband is thinking of buying the manor and the crew are trying to dissuade him.
Then again, watching the always delectable Fleur Bennett (Mavis) is a joy in any episode.

That is my favorite also Mr Humphries at least got one good audience applauding entrance in this series. I like how they kept saying "But I'm happy" and Humphries line "I could not find my hat and when I found it it was on my head" Funny stuff too bad it was such a short series.

I like the episode with the "pu$$y of great antiquity", a.k.a. the dead cat. The sight gags associated with their bad luck were hysterical.

My favourite has to be the cricket match, I loved Ms Slocombe's one liners
Mr Rumbold - "He Obviously still has a candle burning for you"
Ms Slocombe - "Well I never lit his wick and thats for sure!"

On the original AYBS, I never really liked the episodes where they put on skits, but on G&F, my favo(u)rite episodes are the Mongolians and the Americans.

My favorite episodes are S01 E05 where they think the house is haunted after Mrs. Slocombe's cat goes missing, and "The Mummified Pussy" (S02 E04).
