In the episode where Capt Peacock finds the gun in the drawer of the writing room and the cops pull the printout of their backgrounds, we find that Mr Rumbold was in a rollerskating gang in 1947funny since he supposedly served in WWII which ended in 1945

Maybe he sowed a few wild oats after the war. Some soldiers had trouble readjusting. life was rough in the Catering Corps.

Another "blooper": Betsy the cow initially milked is the one with no horns but later in the series she's the one with the horns. One was actually Daisy but they refer to both as Betsy.
