Were you a fan of The Real World?

Oooh, it sounds like someone's underwear are getting too tight. Are your little testicles getting all squished making you cranky? Or do you have cramps?

I like the tension between Puck
and Pedro Zamora in the early season.
My favorite Pedro quotes:
I really
wish you wouldn't burp or fart when I have a plate of food in front of me.
and
You pick your scab, and then stick your finger in the peanut butter. I'm sorry, I don't like my peanut butter with scab!

Hawaii was first when Ruthie would always get naked and drunk for no reason.
The one with Matt and the blonde and the loud ass black girl…which one was that? Vegas?
One of em had a sick girl Frankie who died later on. Seattle? -

Hawaii had a guy named Matt who was a dorky white guy. The loudass black girl I’m guessing is Aneesa from Chicago which had a mostly blond cast. Frankie was from the first San Diego season. Sound familiar?

I was getting them mixed up.
The cute blonde I was thinking of is Rachel. She's from The Real World Back to new York. The loud black girl is from that show. Coral, I think. And then another who always wore eye shadow. Nicole? Miz is from that season.
The Matt I'm thinking of is from New Orleans. I got Rachel mixed up with the Mormon virgin from that show, because she had a crush on Matt. Julie? Because Rachel was also a virgin..
I started watching with Hawaii…Amaya? Ruthie, Teck Money. Amaya was so hot.
I think New Orleans came after: the short filipina looking girl, Melissa? David the buff black guy.
Then Chicago, the Armie Hammer looking dude, Kerri, Chris the gay bloke. The blonde with the curly hair was super cute.
Las Vegas, I hated the slut of the show, Trishelle, the goofy looking guy Frank, Stephen the guy who looks like Sean William Scott.
In one of these around this era, two of the cast mates fell in love and got married.
The last one in memory is Sydney.
I remember they used to do Real World vs. Road Rules challenges on MTV. And they'd have alumni return from the first few seasons, like Mike from the first season and Puck from San Fransisco, who I thought were so old then, but really they were like in their early 30s.
Real World is probably tame, now. Hawaii was really dark and full of nudity. Ruthie would always get naked and drunk without intervention from the cameramen. After that, there were progressively less cast members who'd get naked and sleep around. Now, if someone steps out of line, MTV would intervene. Back then, they let them do what they want. -

I watched religiously for about 12 years. It was a great show for many years until it just turned into people getting ****faced and fighting. Las Vegas was the turning of the tide, but I hung in until Philly.

I think they could have ended it after the London season 4, and it would have been remembered as a great show. Season 5 (Miami) was still good but after that they were bad until New Orleans and after that it was boring as anything.
Road rules was also great. -

I watched from New Orleans through to I think Philly or Austin…not sure which was before the other. My favorites were New Orleans, Back to NY, and Chicago though. I did like Las Vegas but I'd say you are right about that being a turning point, it felt very different from the others. Paris was Ok too. I used to watch road rules also but I can't remember any distinctions between seasons or cast. I was a big fan of the early challenge seasons though, long before they started bringing in big brother casts etc…wtf was that about.

I gave The Challenge a chance early on because I liked the idea of seeing people from random seasons, and did watch early on, but it just turned into a drunken brawl. Not my thing. CT is a piece of **** too and I can't stand the hero worship of him.
