Nope. It's hard to be a fan of any of these kids. But, I was impressed by his explanation of why he didn't get arrested. A lot of idiots are locked because they don't know their basic rights. A little weed shouldn't ruin someone's life. It sucks that the school didn't reinstate Theo after the charges were dropped.

Intelligence is a relative thing, and peoples perception of it will vary based on their own intelligence.
