Great! They are playing season 1 on August the 7th. Since it's dedicated to the 90's.. its a good chance they may show Real World seasons 2-9 as well if so YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Hopefully they will show Road Rules too

If you have Hulu you can watch the first season and something like seasons 24 to 31. I'm really hoping they'll put more older seasons on there. Also I would blow my load at the chance to watch old seasons of Road Rules.
Here's my signature. -

I'd like it if they put Road Rules on there too since I never really watched it before. And the channel isn't exclusively 90s so I hope they start showing more seasons in the future past '99. I'm also hoping they'll do marathons of old Challenges.

Checked the MTV classic listings and Road Rules season 1 will air on the 21st of August.. wooooo
. I never seen the first 4 seasons.. So this will be great. In addition. Season 2 of the Real World will air on August 20th. it seems they are going in order when showing RW and Road Rules.. yes
, I never seen season 2-5 of RW.. -

How come they can't play the original music with the broadcast. It makes sense that on DVDs they can't since that's not part of the original broadcast, but reruns would have been agreed to have the music played.

I can't say for certain but I imagine the syndication agreement has expiration dates on certain songs. I'll give MTV a pass since I'm so happy they're finally rerunning Real World/Road Rules. -

Did they say yet if they will be airing some of The Challenge seasons?
I haven't seen anything officially and it's not on my listings yet. I would be extremely upset if they don't but also very surprised. I'm thinking they may start in September and run those seasons concurrently with the Real World/Road Rules seasons. -

Yeah, it would be amazing if they show Road Rules.. I have not seen it in years. I never seen the first 3 seasons of road rules so it would be great to watch. Yeah, I would like to see old challenges too..

I re-watched S1 and fell in love with Kit all over again. So much energy. So much charisma. I'm also a fan of S5. It wasn't as interesting missions-wise - uh, caring for pigs? - but I liked the group (save for Jon who gave me the creeps). -

Watching it now! Talk about a blast from the past! I remember watching this like it was yesterday. I hope at some point they show the Miami, San Francisco (the one with Puck!) and Boston seasons (who else remembers that famous slap??). Those were my favorite.
Oops, I made a mistake. The season with the famous slap was Seattle, right after Boston. I loved Boston too, but crazy Irene from Seattle.lol..

I still watch certain scenes and remember the original music that accompanied them. I wish I'd taped the seasons when I had the chance - the music was just as much a part of the show as anything else. -

It only took a coups of episodes to make Julie my favorite cast member of all time. She is so ridiculously nice and in a very genuine way. The camera gravitates to her all the time.
She was the perfect cast member. Open to experiences while still having a solid sense of identity. -

I watched all 13 episodes.. season 1 is definitely the best. Julie's and Heather B's relationship was so sweet. Loved Norm and Andre. Eric was a cutie. Becky was moody lol and Kevin was hardly ever there lol. This cast was awesome. the last episode had me crying.. and then I was like wait,. they moved out 24 years ago. lol

I liked everybody in the cast except Kevin. It was probably better he wasn't around more since all he seemed to do was complain. Julie is my favorite but Heather was great too and the best episodes were with those two interacting. Great first season of the show; I made myself watch this to see how it all began but I'm not sure I can watch every season. I'll probably record them and kind of skim through unless a season really grabs me.

I thought Kevin proved himself to be a major league a$$ hole. I remember that fight with him and Julie outside, but I didn't remember him being quite so hostile. He was trying to piss her off, getting in her face and everything. And purposely making the arguement a "race thing." What a jackass.
