I did, I was around 3 or 4 and I remember it being pretty packed and everyone laughing. This is one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters, the other being Beauty and the Beast. The early 90s was a great time for Disney movies!

I had the honor of being a kid during the Disney Renaissance and loved every minute of it. So much so that I thought Disney movies were all incredibly good and successful not realizing that I was wrong. I had no idea Little Mermaid was their first huge successful in a very long time.
With the exception of Little Mermaid, I now I saw all of the Disney Renaissance films in the theater during their original releases. I don't remember seeing Little Mermaid or not, I know I saw it in the theater when it was re-released in 1997. I saw all of the Disney Classic movies from Rescuers Down Under through Emperor's New Groove (including Fantasia 2000) and then I started not going to see the movies anymore because I just didn't like them during the 00s. The next one I saw in the theater was Tangled a full 10 years later!

I did. The woman across the street from us took her sons, me, and one of my friends. My friend and I laughed so hard during the part when the Genie was a cheerleader we were still laughing about it on the way home. I loved the movie so much back then I begged my Mom to get it for me. She got it for me when I was good for getting a shot LOL.

Saw it as an adult when I was dating my now husband. Thought it was one of the most fantastic theater experiences i had ever had. Robin Williams was overwhelming. The theater was packed and we were sitting in the right hand section, on the aisle, in something like the third row. All I can remember is the huge looming figure of that hilarious genie. I'd go see it in the theater again!

I was 3 that time and enjoyed it a lot. It was the second movie I saw at the theater, the first one being The Little Mermaid.
Adoring Haley Reinhart. Buy her "Listen Up" album.
