This is my all time favorite movie scene! I am so happy someone from YouTube uploaded it! The video quality is wonky though.
The atmosphere, the camera work, the setting, and that techno club music. There's a lot of energy.
Their body language. It's sensual and sexy. Frustration, jealous, postering. Michael Douglas looks delicious. He's so masculine and strong. He's confident. Catherine does her flirty games. Roxy is awesome. And that dance Roxy does with Catherine and the other guy represents her sexuality. She's dancing with a guy but not intimately. And she's keeping her eye on her girlfriend. She's tough in a butch way. And then Detective has enough of their lesbi cat n mouse games. He just pulls her close to his junk. Their groin together. Ass to groin.
It's a hot scene. I've never seen anything as hot as this scene in a crime thriller
I'm watching it again. -

That's a pretty good way of describing the club scene.
Its all still a game with Catherine using her sex appeal to entice, lure, and sexually tease Nick. All while Catherine's girlfriend is keeping tabs. You gotta love how, following Catherine provocatively rubbing her ass on Nick's groin area, then quickly spinning around followed by her ejecting a "Ahem!", further indicating to him she's aware of what she's doing, Nick finally has had enough of the game, and forcibly grabs her ass. Confidently giving her the look that he's ready to consummate. Its clear the sexual chemistry is amicably reciprocated, and, well…. their instincts kick in shortly thereafter. -

Very well articulated. This scene is absolute kick ass where Sharon playfully teases Michael who takes control by grabbing her butt. There is a scene of french kissing that is missing in the movie. Its in the link below. He is practically eating her mouth and she reciprocates.
This further increases the passion and they end up at her place in her bed… -

- Michael investigating about Beth Garner's husband's death
- Investigating about Lisa Oberman
- Sharon comes to Michael's apartment and leaves saying "liar"
- Sharon comes to Michael's apartment and opens her blouse and they both kiss
- Post coitus moment where Sharon lays in Michael's lap nude
- Gus's death and Michael shooting Jeanne
- Michael and Sharon having sex at his apartment
- Sharon trying to grab something and they begin kissing again
