    Were those clips towards the end of the film really the ones they used at the Oscars when he won his Honoarary award, or did they just edit their own segment? Because that was my favorite part of the movie.

            I saw it when it aired originally and it seems like it was longer so yes; it must have been edited.

                I remember seeing this on tv (the Oscar award for CC) when it really happened. It was wonderful!Chaplin was very unemotional in accepting the award, and as I recall he was in a wheel chair.

                  I saw it too. Very memorable. Charlier was rather unemotional, but he wasn't in a wheelchair.
