Do you think this should have beat Unforgiven at best picture?

I do. I think that Unforgiven is good, but after seeing this, I think that this movie should have one out of all the nominees. The best movie of 1992 in my opinion is Malcolm X, but for some reason, it was not nominated, so out of the nominees, I pick this one.
What do you think?

I dig your taste. I've always cited MALCOLM X as my favorite of '92 as well, but regarding the Oscars, I also preferred THE CRYING GAME to UNFORGIVEN but I should say that UNFORGIVEN impressed me a great deal, so I wasn't upset when it won. Frankly, I was betting on it.

As much as I have always loved Clint Eastwood, and as good a movie as I think Unforgiven was, IMO The Crying Game was the most deserving Best Picture nominee that year and should have won.
