If they ever do a remake, then the scene with Lisle's party should be huge and part of the climax, imagine Elvis getting shot and then him killing David Bowie, what too soon? beep that!!!!! Go crazy with this film!

Margot Robbie - Lisle (Playing a 60 year old woman)

Amy Adams is very good, Tom Hardy as Ernest? Hmmm he's pretty versatile, bet he would like a role like that haha
If they do a remake I don't want them to redo the Original story, like what Jurassic World was to Jurassic Park it's sort of a remake but still a sequel.

Interesting on not going the full-remake route
I personally would prefer a more straightforward remake, but not a carbon copy
It
must
have new stuff maybe with 1 or 2 plot twists but basically the same story, since the original wasn't as popular as the Jurassic Park franchise and almost 25 years have gone by since the original.
I don't see it happening anytime soon though, no Zemeckis film has gone the remake/reboot route, not even more likely/accessible properties like Romancing The Stone and Roger Rabbit.

that is very beautiful how none of his films have ever been remade. it's like he's off limits untouchable for a remake. he's the only director like that that i know of.
he's made a lot of classic films like forrest gump and the back to the future films.
i consider him a low rent spielberg which is a compliment.
i always connected him with spielberg oh bc the back to the future films were produced by spielberg.

you know this is one of the few times i've ever entertained a remake for a movie bc this movie is so mediocre and doesn't work that well at all.
