"The best reason to see the film is Streep. She deliriously sends up the kind of show-biz narcissist who can turn a pelvic tilt into an expression of self-love. In this movie about women losing control of their bodies, she seems more at home in hers than ever before."

She shines in every role she's in!
I must say that the reviews for this film leave much to be desired. While they praised the special effects, they said that it lacked any real character development and strong plot. -

Ha ha! For many of us Streepers who had never seen her do comedy, the film was a jaw-dropper. She's hilarious. Who woulda guessed, given all those heavy, dramatic roles she's done, that she could be this funny? Such a treat. The way she delivers some of the lines is exquisite, the killer being, of course, "NOW, a warning??" Just thinking about it while writing this makes me grin.
