We just revealed the following upcoming Scream Factory blu-ray releases at our Comic Con panel this evening. Here's the exciting line-up:- WOMENS PRISON MASSACRE (1983) - First women-in-prison film in the Scream Factory roster. Bonus points for being Italian-made.
- BLOOD AND LACE (1971) First time ever on a home entertainment format!
- TROLL (1986) Which will be paired with Troll 2 as a double feature.
- GHOST STORY (1981)
- THE GUARDIAN (1990) From the Director of The Exorcist!
- THE CAR (1977)
- NIGHTMARES (1983)
- DEATH BECOMES HER(1992)
- GARBAGE PAIL KIDS: THE MOVIE (Collectors Edition) (1987) Not horror of course, but gross enough!
- THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (Collectors Edition) (1985) - !!!
We have no details to report on this time other than that Death Becomes Her, Blood and Lace and Troll are slated for November 2015 street dates. The rest will roll-out in the months to follow with ROTLD likely releasing in Summer / Fall of 2016.

"""Awesome, about time a decent version of this came out, the HD airings are great, but the DVD so crummy!"""
SO true. I wish I had downloaded those HD airing when it was on Netflix. I could so kick myself.
I have an HD 4K 56" TV and the Fullscreen DVD is so grainyUGH!!!
It seemed clearer on a regular square tube TVLOL. -

Scream Factory just announced via their Facebook page that the release has been delayed to early next year "but for good reasons! We'll keep our fingers crossed and explain later on this year." Perhaps a sign they've found all the deleted scenes and our restoring them for the Blu-ray, maybe even the test screening version with the Tracey Ullman subplot.

Or maybe a commentary with Streep and Hawn, what I'm holding out for the most
I love both of them and together is a dream come true. I'll be disappointed if they are not involved.
Please tell me you're joking -

From Scream Factory:
Weve been on a roll with good news this week on various titles so lets continue that streak with an update on our upcoming (and very anticipated) Blu-ray release of DEATH BECOMES HER!
Street date is planned for April 26th and is available for pre-order now at directly through us at https://www.shoutfactory.com/film/film-comedy/death-becomes-her-collector-s-edition. Pre-order links on other fine online retail outlets will begin to populate within the next month or so.
Director Robert Zemeckis was recently kind enough to do a new interview for us! Because of this and since we have plenty other extras in progress (to be announced at a later date) we have upgraded the release to Collectors Edition statusmeaning it will now have a limited-edition slipcover added.
As thrilled as we are (and suspect you are too) about the new CE status, we unfortunately will not be able to create new key art on this release due to complicated legal and likeness issues. Therefore, the classic home video art you see here will be on the slipcover and front-facing on the packaging wrap. The reverse wrap will sport the purple potion original theatrical artwork.
Thank you guys for being patient on this one (we announced it last Summer and it was originally planned for a Dec/Jan release). We hope the wait will be worth it! -

No Tracy Ullman scenes? Meryl and Goldie could have easily done commentary or at least new interviews for this release. This is what they will both ultimately be remembered for, like Sarandon and Rocky Horror.
