I wondered if the affair would have continued if Martin never caught them. They seemed well on there way to a life long obsession for each other to me.
I felt she really cared for Martyn but could not help her impulse to live on the edge.
If it would not have been Stephan it would have been someone else.
I felt the only drawback the film had was there was not much of her coming to grips on what she caused her fiancee, It should have been more focused on that.
I also wondered why the film had so little dialect on them feeling any guilt or remorse on the affair when it became apparent how much this would destroy him.[Martyn] It's like they were mechanical when the three were together. And lastly, why no shots of them showing Martyn and Anna alone or what type of relationship/or sex they shared when no one else was around. -

If you remember, he had already decided to end the affair after Martyn announced they would be married, and he was able to stick to it for a while, until she sent him that key. Of course, he could have refused. But she was a ruthless character.
