I can't remember their accents..
Is it in England? France? Or the US?

Most of the actors are British.
Juliette Binoche is French, though she played a French-Canadian in "The English Patient." Odd, since Quebec and Parisian French speech is quite different.
No Americans, as far as I can tell, and none of the movie takes place in the States, though Anna's mother mentions living there.
The biggest share of the movie takes place in the UK. One scene, a brief rendezvous between Stephen and Anna, takes place in Belgium, I believe.
I haven't decided on the end, where Stephen is in "exile"it seems like it could be a Mediterranean country, like Italy, Spain or Portugal.

I know this is 9 years late, LOL, but I'm thinking more like Morocco.
