I think we are all a bit damaged, well, some of us I think But I do tend to find myself drawn to damaged people, and in turn, the damaged people I am drawn to are drawn to even MORE damaged people than I
Sometimes I think the stronger damaged people like to prey on the weaker ones.. Sometimes I think that men need control so much that they seek out damaged girls, so that they have more power over them
I feel that I am a survivor, but sometimes damaged people don't like survivors, they want people that they can destroy. Like Anna, perfect example. She knows exactly who she can manipulate and destroy She knew that Martyn would be easily destroyed and manipulated. -

Very interesting post. It really made me think, and I do agree with that. It seems like abusive people like to find people they can abuseso they look for damaged peopleand some people who get abused subconsiously look for people that will abuse them. Damaged people looking for damaged people. It's like they can sniff each other out. By the way, I'm not saying everyone, I'm just generalizing.

Survivors usually are damaged as it implies having endured something traumatic. From my experience damaged people are often envious of those who are less damaged, or even not at all (it's possible). I agree that there is an element of predation in Anna and in others who like her would spread their damage.
