I have enjoyed discussing my favorite movies, TV shows, and actors here on IMDB. Now they have decided to shut down this part of the site.

This film in particular has always had an awesome board, filled with people giving great replies and asking good questions.
I seriously can't believe the boards are going away, and that there hasn't been such a huge outcry against it.
I love boards like this, where people give great analysis and make you think about the movie in a different way, or make you go "I never noticed that, that's pretty clever!"
For an awesome board, check out Spartan (2004) as well. -

Unfortunately, sometimes open and free discussion must take a backseat to profit and business interests. In other words, there is no point for allowing criticism of products that Amazon provides.

We'll never hear about the outcry. I'm sure the IMDB execs don't care about criticism of their decision, at least they won't publicly acknowledge our disappointment. Their main concern seems to be image and profits.
