When Kaffee says to JoAnne, "Jo, if you ever talk to my clients without my permission, I'll have you disbarred" (or something close to this), can a Lawyer in the service (any branch) actually be disbarred? Pardon the bad pun, but in keeping with the theme of the movie, couldn't they just transfer the attorney to do something else?

A Jag officer has to be a member of a bar somewhere. If they are disbarred they can lose their commission. That would undoubtedly lead to their being discharged.
