Sex is human nature, right?!
I won't embarrass you all but I'll admit that I enjoy sex..
Why cut it from a movie?
Sex is, after all, a human action and nothing we should be ashamed of..
It was very tastefully (sp?) cut
Anyone with me on this? -

I remember thinking the scene was kinda hot due to the S&M quality about it but also that that kinda sucks for the girl because she didn't look like she was getting anything out of it. It actually looked like it hurt. The sex was all for JP, not much for the girl at all. I doubt there was foreplay and most girls can't get off without that.
I am a girl so maybe I notice these things more. lol

To all of you who are asking what the big deal with the sex scene is, here's a pretty good answer. Most of us actually saw Hellraiser III WHEN we were about 15 years old. I was roughly 15 at the time of release, and bought the unrated VHS. Sex scenes in ANY movie were a big deal at that point, because the internet was but a whisper at the time, and modems were considered "fast" at 24kbs, hence, pornography online was virtually inaccessable to teens. Not to mention no one was going to let us into an adult video store. We had to get our dirt from films. That said, there's something nostalgic about scenes(ESPECIALLY this one) in movies that claimed some of our "personal time" when we were but young chaps. I'm 26 now, and while I haven't seen Hellraiser III in years, that sex scene still stands out as one of the most memorable stroke scenes on any VHS I owned. Bring on the Kleenex.

Yeah, I was about 14 when I first saw it back in '93 on video and that scene was memorable b/c I watched it with my then-girlfriend and she was "impressed" by the scene so it served as "inspiration" for the latter part of the evening.
I have not seen this film since about '95 or '96, I would love to see it again both for nostalgia (as this was when I first started getting majorly into horror films) and to develop a new opinion on the subject (the whole film not just the sex scene).
Product placement is inevitable but it's gone too far! What's next?!? 'Passion of the Chrysler'?!?

i was just watching this on Bravo HD; swears silenced out, and virtually nothing on the sex scene - no nudity at all. I know it is pretty base to only want to see the sex scene, but hey, when you have a mediocre movie, you have to get what you can get. And, I happened to see this film in my "formulative years", and seeing JP's hot bubble butt was a happy memory. Actually, the reason I remember it most is becase he was smoking while they were beep and I thought that was a trip.

forgot to mention this on my other post: was watchin this on Bravo HD - swears blipped out, nudity cut out, AND YET it is perfectly okay to watch a man's head explode due to multiple hooked chains pulling his face in multiple directions. If I were watching this film in Europe, THAT is the scene that'd be cut, and the tatas and buttocks would be retained.
