i was just watching this on Bravo HD; swears silenced out, and virtually nothing on the sex scene - no nudity at all. I know it is pretty base to only want to see the sex scene, but hey, when you have a mediocre movie, you have to get what you can get. And, I happened to see this film in my "formulative years", and seeing JP's hot bubble butt was a happy memory. Actually, the reason I remember it most is becase he was smoking while they were beep and I thought that was a trip.

forgot to mention this on my other post: was watchin this on Bravo HD - swears blipped out, nudity cut out, AND YET it is perfectly okay to watch a man's head explode due to multiple hooked chains pulling his face in multiple directions. If I were watching this film in Europe, THAT is the scene that'd be cut, and the tatas and buttocks would be retained.

I'm glad Pinhead did that rubberhole JP correct, that Joker done thought he was a porn star and just check all the tricks on this thread laying all over his jock, what a bunch of pink cigar smokers, talkin' concerning how cute his butt was/is, dag, while that Joker J.P. was lookin' like a broken toaster with a stick in his mouth, I woulda came up from behind, and hit him up somethin real proper with a nice aluminum bat, pulled him off that roach, and woulda dented her dome just as a sweet! then I woulda Scarfaced the situation and "Smiled"!

It was pretty graphic. The thing I don't understand is why horror films bother with simulated sex scenes. It adds nothing to the story and if the viewer was in the mood for it, he or she could always watch an X-rated film and skip all the pretense!

Anyway, why did Pinhead "wake up" in the pillar as J.P. orgasmed? What was the significance of it? I'm guessing that it was the consummation of a mortal sin: sex between unmarried people. In the olden days, people didnt want to have children out of wedlock, aka bastard children. God supposedly curses the bloodline of those bastard children for ten generations. Perhaps the sex would have gotten the woman pregnant, had she not been devoured by Pinhead. -

I hate when people censor movies for any reason at all. Who are these people to alter someone else's artistic creation just because they don't like the content? I believe that as long as people aren't being hurt or being forced to do anything they don't want to, no subject matter should be off limits in movies.

Making filmmakers cut scenes is an insult to them. They wanted each scene done a certain way for a reason. Cutting even a few seconds can ruin the directors vision of a certain scene. Whether it'a a sex scene or a talking scene, or just a scene of complete silence.

I realize this thread is quite old but what the hell
I find this scene fascinating but not just because of the sexual act itself. There is no intimacy of the act itself,(for gods sake, he is smoking a ciggy). He is entirely in control of her body, her movements and she is simply flesh to him. Nothing more,nothing less.
You can see this after when the two talk-she is trying to keep him interested while he shows more concern and attachment to his shoesreally, it is almost as if he considers HER to be dirt. He has no interest in who she is other than her body and the pleasure it has given him.
During the sex, Pinhead is watching all of this. He is taking in the fact that it is simply a matter of hunger between J.D and this poor girl. I also find it interesting that when Pinhead absorbs her, it almost looks sexual as well. Again, she has no control over her body, this time there is no pleasure in it for her.
So the poor girl,despite going into the sex of her own free will, is used b two different men. In the end, THEIR appetite is sated and to them, that is all that matters.
