Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth

I'm looking to buy all the Hellraiser movies. I know this one was not released in Blu Ray in America, but I think it was in other countries. I was wondering if anyone knew what the best version is in terms of video/audio quality and also uncut and missing scenes.

I believe the one released in the UK only Lament Configuration DVD box set is unrated. I believe there's also a German DVD release that's unrated. The one released in America was distributed by Paramount and it's the R-rated cut. To be honest though, I haven't followed the Blu Ray releases of the Hellraiser movies, so I can't tell you whether III was ever released on Blu Ray in America, but I can almost guarantee it was the R-cut.
I just did a search on Google and see that there's an Austrian Blu Ray which is uncut.

Actually the rating on the DVD is incorrect. It was supposed to only be the R rated version but someone got the wrong information and the Unrated cut was put on the Paramount DVD. The one through Mill Creek tho is the rated one.

The VHS is Unrated, well at least the one I have is. It's from Paramount Pictures.
It will say on the box at the bottom Unrated Version.
