I did not see it that way. I thought it was a good movie, but then that's why they make chocolate and vanilla. I especially enjoyed Jon Lovitz's small but hilarious role.

I was so impressed she made it to 104! Can you imagine all of the things she's seen and experienced in her life? That's amazing. She was a pretty impressive person.

In November 1988, Ms. Jochum and other former players attended a ceremony at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, to dedicate a permanent exhibition on the league. Ms. Jochumβs uniform was among the memorabilia at a Smithsonian Museum of American History exhibit, βSports: Breaking Records, Breaking Barriers,β which toured from 2004 to 2007.
Until today I always thought the Hall of Fame induction happened in the year the movie was released which was in 1992.
