Older Dottie and Younger Dottie are not the same actor???

How do they look exactly the same and sound the same? Did they just have the Older Dottie actress lip-sync her lines so that Gena Davis could dub her voice over her? Does anyone know why they didn't just use Gena Davis for the older Dottie? They already look so darn alike. This kinda annoyed me. Haha. thumbs up

yeah different actresses, but the originals dubbed their over their lines.
It's kinda weird how you can sometimes associate actors looking older via makeup as more normal , than seeing someone completely different but hear the original voice. -

I found the Dottie voice-over to be distracting. While it was synced pretty well, it was still obvious from the very first lines the old Dottie uttered. They really should have just slapped old lady makeup on Geena Davis.

I thought the voice-overs of both older Dottie and older Kit were ridiculous. That wasn't done with any of the others. Did they think we wouldn't know who Kathleen Butler (older Kit) and Lynn Cartwright (older Dottie) were supposed to be?
