The movie is full of stupid and slapstick humor, but it is actually one of the funniest movies you will ever see in your life. If you haven't seen it, do. And if its been a while see it again. John Lovitz is great a usual and Jeffrey Jones (the principal from Ferris Bueller's day off) does a hillarious job playing the lead. Its an all around good movie.

It's on TV right now and this is the dumbest, most hilarious thing! It doesn't pretend to be a decent film, it just seems like everyone involved is having the time of their lives being in such a goofy film.
Is it just me, or does the poison taste different today?

Absolutely! It's so ridiculously hilarious that anyone who really tries to call it an awful film obviously doesn't understand that it was never trying to BE a good film! It's awful and flaunts it. One of my all-time childhood favorites. I still love watching it when it comes on. :]

Jerry Goldsmith wrote a music score for this movie? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!

I just saw this film and thought it was hilarious. Jon Lovitz was a riot as the hopelessly stupid and arrogant Todd. Terrir Garr and Jeffrey Jones were appealing leads. Plus I loved the gag about the cute killer mushrooms.
