      Can't believe it's been 25 years! I was 11 when it came out and was constantly told how gruesome it was and was constantly being told about the "ear scene". I first watched it when I was about 14 or 15 and I liked it, and was surprised by all the furore over it as I knew other things were much more violent. Having said that, the torture scene is very uncomfortable and had me squirming in my seat.
      I have very odd dreams about the film occasionally. And last night it was a Reservoir Dogs, Hi-de-Hi and Terry & June crossover! It worked surprisingly well!

          I don't either sometimes. People who complain about violence in cinema never complain about it in plays - Shakespeare had some of the most violent scenes ever written!
