Is it feasible for someone to live (like the few hours that Mr Orange did) for a while if they get a gunshot wound similar to Mr Orange?

On the trivia it states they had a paramedic on scene so they can determine how much blood to show in a realistic way , with it being believable that he was still alive.

I am no doctor but he receives no medical attention of any kind, and although the amount of time elapsed is not clear, I feel he could have bled to death three times over.
