Charlotte was 17 years younger than Frasier?

That $10,000 thing makes her a criminal. She should have been in jail, and Frasier should not associate with her, ever. Association makes him look completely weak and feeble-minded, and it could lead him to lose his license or worse.
Plus, the implication is that Frasier was not her only victim. It was her entire business model to swindle people. -

The best thing about Charlotte was her boyfriend and his relationship with Frasier. Gold, every moment.
Especially when he walked right in after Charlotte and Frasier had just had sex and was completely oblivious and just sat down on the bed to hang out with both of them while they were both still half-naked. Lol. -

Yeah, everything involving him was just classic, splendidly written
Frasier
.
If I'd have been Frasier, I'd have ditched Charlotte and taken the boyfriend. He was a nice guy. And Frase has an abundance of ladyfriends and zero guy friends.

Honestly, once you're out of your 20s, just like birthdays, age doesn't really matter, especially when it comes to dating. I'm a woman, 36, and I have no problem dating men who are quite a bit older. It just doesn't seem like that big of a gap, than say when you're 20 and dating somebody a lot older than you.
That said, I agree with forthesafetyofpuppies, the best thing about the Charlotte storyline, was when Frasier was dating her and the boyfriend - that was actually very funny, and he had more in common with the boyfriend!
I too, LOATHE Charlotte - I hated everything else about her, I found her to be completely annoying, zero chemistry with Frasier, and her character was just uninteresting, and yes, criminal! Why he fell for her, made no sense to me at all, and I was hoping he wouldn't end up with her. It ticked me off when he lands in Chicago at the end though - hopefully it's just a visit, before going to San Francisco, b/c I'd hate to think he threw everything away to be with her.

Age is just a number. Frasier was 51 at the end of the series, while Charlotte was 35, even though at the time, Kelsey was 49 at Laura Linney was 40. In the episode "Fortysomething" (1.20), Frasier was chased by a 22-year old, and she was 19 years his junior.
In real life, Kelley's current wife is 26 years younger than him and only 3 years older than his daughter, Spencer. To some people age doesn't matter and to some it does. What matters most is how much you love that person in your life. -

My last long-term relationship (before I met my husband) was 21 years my senior - and my husband is seven years younger than me. I've always said, as long as he's legal, it's all good.
