my very favourite episode is the one where niles has a duel with the fencing instructor. hilarious. other episodes I particularly like include the one where frasier gets rid of martin's chair, the one where they go to canada by accident, the one where niles takes over Frasier's radio show, the one where frasier's agent is trying to get him a raise, and the one where frasier and niles are trying to write a book together, the one where they all go fishing.

I think my favorite is in Season 2 and it's "The Matchmaker". Frasier is trying to set up Daphne with his new boss. We know the boss is gay, but the actors don't. It's a perfect example of dramatic irony - something this show thrives on. In fact, it's so much a perfect example - I show this episode to my High School English classes when we are discussing different types of irony. It's great.
