"Hello, you're on the crane with Frasier air!"
Frasier Crane's Day Off
is terrific. One of the highlights of the 1st season.
His attempt to run the show while being delirious is so funny.
Oh, man, there are so many great episodes, you can hardly list them all. -

I don't see this episode mentioned very often but I loved the Christmas episode: Merry Christmas, Mrs. Moskowitz. It was the 10th episode in season 6. I laugh everytime I see the scene where they open the powder room door and Niles, dressed as Jesus, is standing there next to a Christmas tree while using some nose spray. I also loved the way Faye and her mother argue and then the Cranes try the same thing without any success.

Glad someone mentioned that one (Mrs. M.) - it's among my top 5 and maybe even top 2 or 3, along with "Dr. Nora," the latter largely owing to Christine Baranski and Piper Laurie teaming up to give two of the best sitcom guest-star performances of all time (IMHO).

I've been watching the show again recently and am into season 5 currently. The episodes that have stood out for me:
Miracle on 3rd or 4th Street: first Christmas episode. The callers talking about their horrible Christmas experiences is hilarious.
Flour Child: Niles wonders about fatherhood and so he carries a bag of flour around to simulate a baby. The scene when Niles talks about the "injuries" the flour sustained had me laughing as much as anything I can remember. "It's not as reckless as you make it sound, after all a real child would have screamed before bursting into flames"
Three Dates and a Breakup: Frasier gets 3 dates in 3 nights and brags about it (including calling up Norm in Boston). Of course the dates go awry. Also, Martin has broken up with Sherry. I like the scene in the kitchen when Frasier and Martin talk about Hester and Martin's issues getting over her.
Frasier Grinch: Frasier buys all the wrong gifts for Frederick. The mall scene is wonderful. And Niles line "The Cranes of Maine have got your living brain!"
Forget the title, but Frasier's new station boss thinks Frasier has asked him for a date. Classic Frasier with misunderstandings.
First season when Daphne gets stuck at Niles house during a storm. The line "Dr. Crane, your glockenspiel has sprung to life!" is still as funny as it was when I first heard it.
The Ski Lodge: I think Frasier was the best at doing those types of misunderstanding/confusion among the characters, while the audience knows what's going on. This one is incredible.
The Innkeepers: this might be my favourite episode of the whole series. From Otto the senile waiter, to Daphne and the eel, to Martin's line "why don't you put snipers on the roof to shoot at anyone who tries to come in?" just plain brilliant.
Perspectives on Christmas: Very well done. The subtle (and not-so-subtle) differences in each characters recollection of the same events if wonderful. -
