Was Martin really their father?

There is that episode when the old colleague of their dead mother visits them. He resembles Frasier and has the same tastes and mannerisms of the two Crane boys, which are largely genetically determined. They share none of that with Martin. I think Martin asks this guy how close he was with his wife and the guy replies that he was close enough that he shared with her that he was gay. This apparently allays Martin's suspicions. Of course this guy was a psychiatrist and may know exactly what to say to him. I think the balance of the evidence has Martin not being their father.
