When do you think Fran and Max fell in love

When do you guys think Fran fell in love with Max? Or vice versa. I am rewatching season 2 and right now they just seem like friends. So when do you think they started having deeper feelings for each other?

I would say really they fell in love in the later seasons, I would say season #5 at the very most, but it has been since a lot time since I have seen the later seasons. Or maybe towards the end of season #4 at the very most. Sad part is that seasons 4-6 are not on dvd, and pretty much are highly doubtful that they will never be released on dvd, even as seeing how long it did take seasons 1, 2 and 3 to be released on dvd. And just in case you don't forget it, the first time that Maxwell told Fran that he lived her, was on the plane back from Paris when he thought he was going to die in a plane crash, but they make it back to New York safely and he takes it back. But pretty much really at first I would say season #5, but if at all if it happened even earlier that I would say more towards the end of season #4.

I think Max started to find Fran attractive in season 1 but didn't know how to approach her, he had lost his wife and probably wasn't ready for dating just yet. He lived with a beautiful woman for 5 years and didn't feel no type of attraction, something is wronglol. I really think Fran and Max started to really like each other in season 4.

I think definitely by Season 3. I mean, that's when Niles almost gets him to say the thing about his feelings that would make him feel so much better to get off his chest (but he doesn't because Fran walks in). And I don't think just admitting the very obvious, "I find her attractive" would have been so serious.

I think it happened pretty early on. There was some attraction from the pilot episode and somewhere maybe around season 3 there was love from Max. I think Fran was in love pretty much since season 1, Max was more stubborn.
But yeah, Max around season 3. Remember the "thing"? That wouldn't have happened if Max wasn't genuine with his feelings. -

He got jealous of her dates a lot. I have not really watched season 1 too much to remember, but definitely by season 2 he was jealous and comparing her dates to him such as when Fran had a crush on the detective when she got robbed, to the guy who proposes to her and turns out to be a con artist, to when Danny proposes to her. And when she got robbed he called her by her first name and they almost kissed. And he was jealous of the guy in the mob, too, also comparing himself to the guy. And he always chose Fran over CC like when he makes up an excuse to take Fran to the Russian Tea Room to meet her pen Pell when he had plans to work with CC that night but forgot.
