A lot of people don't like this series but I did though. No it's not as good as the original but I thought it was still a pretty decent show. Sure there were some recycled storylines: Hence them working at the Country Club is similar to the Malibu Sands episodes of the original, there was also a date auction episode and another one where the girl's college boyfriend comes back and she has to chose that was similar to the Zack/Stacy episode and they also helped out a homeless girl during Christmas time as well.
But I liked the show though and don't think it was crap like some people do.
At its best, it was better than the original series. -

I watched a few episodes of the first season and then didn't watch it again. Actually, my parents didn't get the station NBC so I only had watched it at my grandparents' house. I was surprised when I recently looked up this show and found out it ran for 7 years. I can't believe it lasted that long.

If you bothered looking at the rsting statistics you'd see there's 225 people who would give it an 8 or higher. That amazes me. Giving this a 9 to 10/10 is like saying every single episode was almost perfect.

I have always liked this show. All the different characters really make it feel like 3 or 4 different shows. I really liked Season 1 and all the characters. Season 2 was my least favorite as I did not like the foreign exchange student at all and spanky? the black kid in S2 wasn't very interesting, RJ from Season 3 and Eric from Season 4+ were both better characters. Season 2 was very hit and miss in my opinion as far as good episodes go. Season 3 was much better and after that the show kind of found its groove. I was upset to see Tommy D & Lindsay leave after Season 3 but at least they replaced them with good characters. I think I may even enjoy this show as much as the original. I like the original a lot and used to watch it every morning on tbs for years but the new class is also a pretty good and very underrated series. It started off rough but by Season 3 I think the show was consistently good. Except for most of the odd place episodes like country club etc. I never cared for those with the original or the new class.

I thought it was terrible at least the episodes I watched. I stopped after the second season, the first was just a bad copy of the original, the same characters with different names played by different actors.
The nerd, jock, and prep but with none of th cartoon humor of the original. -

I personally did not like the 1st season, I thought it was a cheap copy of the original and was painful to watch, although the potential was there with characters like Megan and Vicki. I tuned in when season 2 premiered and it was much better, the characters were unique and I really liked that they integrated Sarah Lancaster to the main cast. Seasons 3 thru 7 were ok but it shined in season 2. I think the constant cast changes is what turned off many people.
