What happened to the guy at the end of Hair? He sat down with the nurse, with the alien spores on his face, and did nothing as the nurse hummed and removed his "hair". Was he dead orwhat?

You're probably right. The aliens were kinda rooted in his scalp as hair.

I assume, since the alien spores were aparently growing /inside/ him as well as on his skin, (he sees one go down his throat) that they would have to kill him eventually to collect them all.

I thought they said the spores fed on the brain, so I just figured that he had been lobotomized (spelling?).
