Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice

    stitchesaresore — 10 years ago(June 24, 2015 09:40 AM)

Netflix has what appears to be most of the Children of the Corn movies with the exception of this one. Can I jump straight to three or is this one referenced/relevant to the others?
Can I trade in the children for more cash?

All of them are skippable lol. None of them share any real solid continuity with each other. I will say that this is my personal favourite, however.

I think you can pretty much watch all of them as standalone movies. Number 6 is the only one you should probably watch Part 1 in order to enjoy it. But other than that I think you could watch any one of them and be able to follow what is going on. Part III is my absolute favorite, but each is good in its own way.

This is probably the best one of the whole series.

The first three are more or less connected so I recommend watching it.
pro's: Nice chick, nice soundtrack and some kind of explanation on the origins of He-Who-Walks-Behind-The-Rows.
I don't think the COTC movies are masterpieces but the first three are campy fun. The ending of part 3 is hilarious.

None of them are that good after the first honestly. If you're going to watch the first one you may as well watch 2 and 3 also I guess, but I wouldn't blame you for just watching the first and moving on.
