Micha died good. It was like watching an innocent kid dying. The demon leaves the body and all you see is the kid scared out of his mind while being eaten by that farm machine (sorry dont know the name of the tool).

Yes it was sad and what was really sad, it looked like he did not want to be possessed, but he was anyway.

If Danny had just cut Micah's robe off right away,he could have been struck by lightning,the demon would have possessed Danny and if that didn't happen,he still would kill them all. Danny and the other people should have explained why they could not. Danny should at least apologized to Micah for deciding not to help Micah get Free from the corn harvester. Whi did Micah's mom or guardian yell "Cut his robe off!" or at least tell him that his knife is in the sheath. He would have probably freed hiself. THe worst thing is that no one was sad that he was killed.

yeah but you got to remember that
they all didnt see that the Demon left Micah only Danny did i guess they thought Micah was the one in control( not the demon), so the only one who should be responsible for Micahs death is danny

I thought he was just saying to Danny Im your friend etc so that Danny would foolishly help him and Micah would betray him. I swear the HWWBTR leaves Micahs body during the shredding.
I felt bad too though. Micah is my favourite character. -

LOL at this thread. I think you guys are reading too much into this movie.
Micah was no longer possessed by the evil corn spirit as he was shredded, it's true. However, Micah was pretty evil with or without the corn spirit. Look at the first shot of him in this movie, and tell me he's not twisted. "Their blood was for the corn." That is not something a normal person says.

Micah was not "twisted" he had been brainwashed and traumatized throughout his childhood.
But I agree with another comment that he was "an awesome leader"! He played evil well, even if he was possessed only temporarily
