I'm sorry, but just who the beep are you to pass judgement on other people, especially when looking at your past history?
hmmm it seem i hit a nerve, one to make the little boy so angry he feels he must swear and contradict himself. It's funny, lol you're angry at me for passing judgement on you, but you by bringing up my "past history" you feel it's ok for you to pass judgement on me? we have a word for you and the word is: "Hypocrite"
you preach one has no right to pass judgement on another, but then you go against what you preach because you feel you have a special right to pass judgement on others.
I think I'm about x1000 times more mature than you, considering you had to insult/attack me by impersonating me, that's really REALLY pathetic by the way
insult?? i see no insult, it is just how i see you were raised. you ended up this way because as a child you feel your mommy and daddy didn't give you enough love and attention because they were probably out working atleast 1 job each to support you and as a result with all the effort they made to raise you, all they got in the end was a second rate over grown cry baby who craves any kind of attention he can get, and the only kind he knows is negative attention, so he trys and trys to get that attention my causing trouble.Attack you by Impersonating you?? No no no you got it all wrong. I'd impersonate my neighbors dog before you I would never impersonate you or something as weak as you.
you're attempts at trying to make me angry have done nothing more but humor me, thank you for the good laugh at your expense. -

The first movie Children of the corn was made by anchor bay for video. I do not know the Number 2 . But the rest of the children of the corn's was Walt disney studio. Maybe you can ask Walt disney. but basically children of the corn part two does not exist on dvd. The ones on amazon and ebay are imported dvds that are Not an original. If you buy that particular one, you are wasting your money. If you notice best buy and circuit city does not sell them. I wasted my money and bought it, and its easily identified as being an import .

Edit:Should have read the "alternate versions" part before opening my mouth. But what I read from the above posts the American version isn't that different from the (uncut) European versions. So I would suggest that (if you have a multiregional dvd-player and a tv that supports PAL-format) you would order the European version from somewhere but make sure that it is not censored.

a few days ago i watched children of the corn 2, on cable (not "io" or any other fancy shmncy system)it was on42, or 46, something along thoose lines.
to me memory the only parts that might have been censored was the language, but thats understandable because it was public televison.
MY POINT IS
obviously if they showed it (nothing that i saw had been ommited) there has to be a dvd/vhs copy lieing around, right? why this is a rare thing to come by, i dont no.
i think someone out there isnt a Micah person, which is a shame.
point being, there has to be a copy out there, they didnt show the film from dust.
so the search continues! -

It seems like Miramax shares with Paramount (Hellraiser III, Children of the Corn II, and Dust Devil) somehow belong to Lions Gate. At least, they are the distributers of Hellraiser III on region 1 DVD. As if things weren't confusing enough, Lions Gate keep getting their hands on things that really don't belong to them- Chopping Mall belonged to New Horizon, Martin belonged to Anchor Bay, Will & Grace belonged to Warner Bros

Dimension (a branch of mirimax) shares the rights to cotc 2 with paramount.
i asume there must be some disagreement about this because the film is virtually untraceble.
in the children of the corn family, the secound film is like the foster child.
i belive the problem arrived because paramount helped back the movie when it was being made; diminsion had been fairly new at the time. while 3-7 are easly findable on both the miramax and dimension sites, the secound movie is un locatable. its as if it wasnt even realised. because of this, it is also almost impossible to purchus. you can find it on websites such as fye.com, but it is on "backorder" which means they cant find it either. if you are lucky, you can find a user on ebay selling the original vhs. im not even shure it was formerly realised on dvd in the U.S
since the demand for the movie isnt extremly high, its been swept under the carpet and left to be forgotten. if you are lucky enough to live in the UK or any other part of the world that goes by region 2 dvd standerds, the boxset of 1,2, and 3 have been realised. i even hear rumor that the second movie contains "biographies" in the box set.
Hopefully someone will get the urge to convert the boxset to region 1, considering the movie ORIGINALLY came from the U.S.
i would also like to no what company realised the box set, because they must now have the rights to all three films. -

YES, there is a Children of the corn 2 DVD. I was in my local path mark today and I was looking at some of the DVD racks, where they sell movies for low prices. I saw the Children of the corn 2 DVD. The cover has a sort of black and white-ish looking picture of Micah shining a flashlight. I think it was about $9.99. And no, it was not a bootleg, first off it looked like a real DVD, and plus Path Mark would get in trouble if they sold bootleg DVD's. So yes, the movie is on DVD.

I didn't buy the DVD at my local path mark. But just as a question X0X-SOUTH PARK LOVER-X0X, where did you get your DVD copy, and does it have the same cover as I described. And if I could ask, I didn't get to see the disc, does the disc have some kind of picture on it, if so what does that look like?????

As a true fan, I must admit to be extremely unfair that this DVD has not yet come out on DVD. My opinion is this film deserves a true collector's or special edition with the highest DVD transafer. I think I have been able to figure out why this hasn't happened. If you look closely in the beginning both the Paramount logo and Dimension Films which back then was a " division of Miramax Films " appear, so this must be a battle between this two studios. Also oddly related it's " Hellraiser III : Hell on Earth ", same producer and same both studios. Let's just wait and see what happens, hopefully they'll take COTC II into consideration.
