"The Bible also teaches that umfor everything there is a season"
That's just after Danny asked if he was glad his father was killed. Am I right in saying that this quote is saying that there comes a time for everything? If not, can someone tell me the real meaning.
Thanks -

I think that your assumption is correct. It's kind of like that whole saying "Everything happens for a reason." Also, you could look at the whole scene between Micah and Danny. Here we go:
MICAH: You know Danny I had problems with my father too. Adults, are such hypocrits, it's like once a person becomes 19 they become this thing.
DANNY: What thing?
MICAH: Well like my father if we listened to the radio we sinned. If we talked to girls we sinned, and everysin demanded a beating to chase away the devil. But, then one day I caught my father with the farmhand's wife sinning most vigorously.
DANNY: Micah, were you glad when your father was killed?
MICAH: Um the Bible also teaches that for everything there is a season.
You could look at so many possible meanings and quotes. Like "reap what you sow." Micah was also in this scene, trying to persude Danny to join the "dark side." We are also lead to believe that Micah not the other children is the one who killed his own father in the film. We never know for sure because we never see it but it is implied. Hope I helped you out. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Unless I miss it, but I do not see the resemblance amongst the two actors.

The bible quote Micah was referring to was Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, which does indeed says that there is a season (i.e. time) for everything, including a time to kill. Micah was indirectly saying that, yes, he was happy his father had been killed (as well as hinting for the need for more deaths)

ALL good theories. It SHOULD be noted,HOWEVER,that We CAN
T be sure HOW MUCH of Micahs Dialogue were ACTUALLY His Thoughts since AT LEAST Half The Time,It WAS "He Who Walks Behind The Rows" speaking THROUGH Micah,HENCE The Black Eyes,Pinkish Skin & Intense Features which would LATER be exhibited by Ezekiel in The 5th Film,ALTHOUGH The Method of Possession was different(Micah was pulled through A Portal, demolecularized & pulled back together WHILE in Ezekiels Case,"He Who Walks Behind The Rows" possessed The Boys Campfire & poured into Him.)
