      It's funny you mentioned quotes because after the famous line "Go ahead, make my day" from "Sudden Impact" the producer wanted his line "That's not gonna happen" to be the big quote from this movie. Clint did not go along with the plan. I don't remember where I read that but it came up when I was watching it tonight.

        Bobwal2-1, that summer there was a short article in Entertainment Weekly about their hopes of "That's not gonna happen" becoming a popular catchphrase. I specifically remember it mentioned they hoped Jay Leno would use it. The phrase was in the teaser trailer but wasn't used in such a dramatic way in the movie.

          Haha Well the its stayed with me all these years,I still say to this day,and that's from when I first saw the trailer prior to going to watch it at the cinema,it was a coming soon to cinema trailer on a video I'd hired and I kep rewinding it to watch again,can't remember what the film I hired was but I was more excited about seeing a new Eastwood trailer.Good gracious is it really 22 years ago!!Blimey,to quote another Eastwood character "The clocks ticking and I'm only getting older"
