I read the writer of this movie hated it.

I read an interview w/ the writer of this movie and she hated the film. Originally her script had much more of a feminist leaning. But they get good ol' Bob to play the rich guy and he proposes all these changes that totally changed the tone of the film. And who's going to turn him down when he's a powerful Hollywood personality? So even the WRITER didn't like the movie.
I only watched it on a small B&W TV at someone's house and of course they cut out the sex scene, which I heard was the only good thing about the movie. Needless to say, I thought it was awful. -

Honestly, I don't get the extreme hate. Yeah, it's not a great film (especially the second half, particularly when Demi Moore's character just kind of does a complete 180 for no reason), but there were plenty of really, really bad movies that came out of 1993 that were much worse than this.
I mean, was this really deserving of the Razzie for Worst Film of 93?
