I thought that the writer/director couldnt make up their mind on where the story should be heading. It was like they started off on this wrong foot, with the serial killer thingy and then changed their mind every 5 minutes during the course of the movie..you could almost end the movie anytime after the first 1 hour. This movie was far worse than many regional movies I have seen from Bollywood.

I actually thought it was original in the way it made you think it was one story (the killer who murdered Gwen), then used that story to show a second twist. I thought it was unbelievable, but hey, it kept my interest. Pullman does play a doh-boy everyman a little too well. I can't see him being revenge-full, if that is a word. Casting could have been a littl better in his role. Baldwin, as always, nailed it.

I agree with you on Baldwin. His boardroom speech on how he WAS God was the equal of his speech in the later Glengarry Glen Ross.
of all the actors in the movie, the one I feel most sorry for is one you probably don't even remember, she had such a nothing part. She played the lawyers secretary (Peter Galagher played the lawyer, Brenda Strong played the secretary). Her only failing is that she is six feet tall. She is SO GODDAMNED HOT! She has been on my A-list of fantasies ever since I first saw her in that Marcia Mason, Dan Castellenata sitcom of several years ago.

I love this film. Always have. Always will. Saw it SIX TIMES in the theatre. It's an EXCELLENT suspense thriller with OUTSTANDING performances. A lot of those who don't "like it" just don't "get it". But to each their own.
Wait a minute who am I here? -
