They don't comment on the direct scenes. It cuts to each of the Hughes brothers and some other producers, and they just talk randomly about the movie in general. It's obvious the commentary wasn't recorded as they watched the movie. It's quite boring, actually. And every thing they talk about is covered in the "making of" feature on the disc.

Couldnt agree more. I listed to about 30 seconds before I gave up. They dont talk about the scenes at all, they just talk about life. Utterly worthless.

Their commentary track on From Hell is similar in that they talk but nothing about the scene in front of you.
