When Lydia and Chris found out that Daniel was Mrs. Doubtfire and he made them promise not to tell Miranda or Natalie about it, I wonder what he meant when he said he would only be able to see them through plate glass if Miranda or Natalie found out.

My guess is that Miranda would still plate class in front of him for the only way he be able to see them

He was saying (probably jokingly) that if their mother found out, she would have him put in jail. You know, those scenes where an inmate's family or friends or whatever are visiting them in prison and they have to sit in a booth with glass separating them and they have to talk through a phone set? That's what he was referring to.
