I am 17, and first saw that movie when I was 7, and still watch in on HBO when it's on. I recently watched it the other night, and still can't look at the vomit scene. I always know when to look away, because I know when they begin to vomit. But the scene is no more than 15 seconds when I count in my head. It always ends quickly (The whole carnival sequence in general).

I laughed my ass off during the vomit scenes in Sandlot and Stand By Me. Just something about people's disgusted reactions that gets me every time.

I haven't watched this movie but it sounds like it might have been a take on the vomit scene at the fair after the eating contest in Stand by Me.

I think the Netflix version is the unedited theatrical version, or at least close to it. Puke is flying all over the place, and the boys are coated with it at the end.

Watched in theater as a kid, just watched on DVD. I was like, well that scene was not nearly as gross as I remembered. Must be because it was edited.
