This is in the Goofs section:
When the "OK coral" gunfight starts. Doc Holiday has a two barrel shotgun. Why I am saying two barrel, because it fires three times without reloading, strange isn't it? First time it fires when one of the Cowboys is hiding behind the horse and calling Billy, Billy then start shooting towards Doc and company. Doc fires once in the air, horse is jumping, cowboy stays as clean shot and Doc shot him once. A second after that Doc shots other cowboy in front of himself. So, two barrel shotgun fired three times without reloading. Time: 1:13:14 - 1:13:19.
When Doc shoots Tom McLaury, you see Tom thrown back by the blast. A few seconds later, you see Doc shoot again, and Tom is again thrown back by the blast.
For whatever reason, the editors repeated the same scene from two different camera angles, and makes it appear that Doc fired the two-barrel shotgun three times. But watch closely, the second and third shots are the same shot, and both times Tom McLaury is blown away.
I intend to live forever.
So far, so good. -

Exactly. The same shot from a different angle. How many times have we read this complaint from people who don't use common sense? It's like all the people squawking about the "The Walking Dead" Governor's bad eye changing from right to left when anyone with a brain could see he was looking in a mirror. Duh.

I've been around, Corky, but I haven't seen you!
I've become so interested in Tombstone. I've read a bunch of books, and my husband and I are planning on a visit in the spring. I've always loved history, but was never that interested in the Old West. But Tombstone grabbed my interest.
And it's partly because of the Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer film. I love that movie. So aren't you going to call me an idiot?
I intend to live forever.

Corky, disregard WE for a moment, and think about TS. This was a movie, not a documentary. I've watched it numerous times, and when I show it to a friend, what I tell them is that the film is basically accurate, but exaggerated. For example, Wyatt killed four men during his Vendetta Ride, not twenty-seven.
But it's a movie designed to entertain, not a historical documentary meant to inform. It certainly helped prod me into learning more about the real Tombstone and all its characters.
So isn't that a good thing?
I intend to live forever.

Hahaha, fair enough. I wish you luck, though it may be an ill fated pursuit.
Well, I like to think I have a good sense of humor. I definitely like to laugh. Obviously I love the old west (even if it doesn't make me sexy). I also love comics; used to own a comic shop. Traveling around the west is my favorite activity. I just drove from Phoenix to Seattle and back last week, taking the most remote roads I could find and sleeping out at night. I majored in business and political science. Went to UW (U of Wash in Seattle). Minored in philosophy. In fact I also like to study greek history & mythology, as well as the American Revolution. I have two dogs named Mattie & Josie. My wife is smokin hot, and I'm a huge Seahawks fan.
I suppose that touches the basics. I dont think I should reveal my super-powers yet.

He's a semiregular on the Wyatt Earp movie board, but he discoverd Bobbiekaye and now he's over here, too. If you haven't visited that board, you should read some of his discussions. It can get pretty bizarre. In fact, maybe you don't want to read it.

Thanks, but I'll pass. This is really the only board I frequent, as it's not full of childish trolls and little keyboard warriors. Boring. -
