Two mules is the best thing Shirley Maclaine ever did.
I wasn't even aware that she starred in anything else. (
)
Here's a forgotten one that I love. The Shakiest Gun in the West.
I've never seen it, but I'll be on the lookout for it.
Comedies deserve consideration also.
Yeah, like 1976's "The Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox":

5: How the West was Won
Nice unique Western that you don't see cited too often. Debbie Reynolds (RIP) was notable in it, as was Carroll Baker (and cutie Brigid Bazlen); not to mention you can't go wrong with the big-name cast, commanding score and great action sequences that were state-of-the-art in their day and influenced later action flicks.

I never heard of "The Great Silence," so checked out a couple trailers online and I definitely want to see it. Thanks for the recommendation.

10a. My Name Is Nobody
A lot of Clint Eastwood I know but can't help it if he's been in/made a lot of amazing films.
I was always a spaghetti western or 'modern' western fan. Was never really fond of the old Hollywood westerns bar The Comancheros and maybe the original True Grit.
